Some of you may have vast oceans outside your sliding door, some of you beautiful mountains, still others may be surrounded by big cities or rolling hills...BUT it just can't compare to the Annual PUMPKIN FESTIVAL! That's right for the next 4 days our family will be consuming more porkchops and pumpkin chili than we should eat all year, riding rides that will make our heads spin for days, be spending way to much money on the rat game (and probably never winning), bumping shoulders with just about everyone in Morton, and topping each night off with pumpkin ice cream on top of pumpkin pie! What could be better than that!

Can't wait to join the fun! We are headed up tomorrow morning!! I told Lucy about the parade and she is running around yelling, "Morton, candy, Morton, candy!"

I guess I'm not a true Mortonite yet...do you really go and eat there everynight? Is that normal? :)
