Ice Ice Baby....

Today we woke (eventually) to a beautiful ice storm! And thus started our Christmas break a day early!!! That means...everyone (even dad...who works at our school) is HOME FOR 2 GLORIOUS WEEKS! I say glorious now...I am sure by the end of week 2 that will not be the choice word! But for now....GLORIOUS! enJOY your day wherever you are!

What a day yesterday. These two are so in love, so fun together, and so happy! They made the day so fun by braving the weather conditions! Here's just one image from yesterday right before the brides vail went flying...enJOY

Priceless...

"Oh What a night...Late December back in..." (great song with a few new words)! We (I am sure like most families) don't find many nights that we are all home under the same roof with no where to go! But tonight was the night! And so we had a little family time making ginger bread houses! I cheated and bought the kit...so worth the $9 at Walmart (and NO I am not promoting that store). We spent a few hours with the kids at the table, decorating, and learning a few new things about their little personalities that God gave them :) (That will have to be another post) Anyway, we had a great night and made memories that will last ...and that my friends is priceless! enJOY

That Dinasaur's gonna get me.....

So I skipped the black friday madness and spent the day in my pajamas...well most of the day! We did head out to the Red Barn (a Christmas shop) to check out the festivities and get our moods in check for the holidays! At this little shop they have a couple of Santa's sleigh guides...Paige thinks it's dancer and donner?! (maybe!) But Gus didn't care who they were...He just wanted me to hold him so that..."The dinasaurs won't bite him!" enJOY

What a great day!!!

Really...today was a blessing! We have such great families and such a great time with our families....We caught up with some members we haven't seen in a while and laughed with some that we see too much (teehee...just kidding!) And not to mention, great turkey (a couple of which I sold...***I work at a turkey farm a few days before Thanksgiving every year...That's a whole other post!) We had fun! To our family...we are so thankful for you!
As a side note...I loooove just getting my camera out for fun (which hasn't happened a lot lately). The kids had a blast playing football outside...and I got a few images of Gus that I love (didn't plan on doing that (BONUS!) enJOY

Oh Yea....

I forgot to mention that while at Tucker's game yesterday...Gus had a minor accident that resulted in a few stitches! (He thinks it's cool though because he has a "football" on his chin....The doctor visit though...NOT COOL!

Basketball season...

As my business starts to slow down....basketball season begins! Which I love! As well as my whole family! My husband coaches junior high basketball, he is an athletic director at a high school, and my son plays on a travel team! Not to mention that we just love attending games of local high school teams! So I cannot even begin to tell you how many games we sit through...BUT we love it! I am sure most of my friends think I am crazy...we actually sit in gyms on Friday evenings in towns that we are not even from and know no one, BUT we love the game...and usually end up WAAAAAAAY too into it! But by far, my favorite games are those of my son. He is so fun to watch and it's great to watch him learn the game (and a little frustrating at times :) Anyway, here is a pic from his warm up today. By the way we WON!!!! WOOHOO! enJOY

Relaxation...Here I come!

Well, kind of, "Here I come.." I haven't posted for awhile (at least for me). Sessions are winding down for the year and I have been busier than ever finishing all kinds of things...It's making my head spin just a bit. But, the end is in sight...and a little down time in sight...PRAISE THE LORD! I need a little bit of refreshing, a little time on the couch with my kids, and nights where I just don't know what to do! But, one of the last sessions of the year was a blast with the family in green! enJOY your little sneak peak!
