I had my first session today after taking a nice long break to help my husband (who is doing great)! I couldn't have asked for a nicer family to work with today. They were great, and really they could have stepped out of the pages in a magazine! Beautiful family! Thanks again for allowing me to capture your family. I think you are going to like what you see. enJOY

My Boys

So today I made my boys let me snap a few shots of them! We just remodeled our master bathroom and I want some images of my kids for the wall. Paige will get hers another day when we actually do her hair! I am not sure which ones I am going to use for the wall, but here is a little peak at just a few that I may use. enJOY

Where is the sun?

Anyone who knows me knows that I would rather be in the sun than anywhere else! So this week is a little depressing for me. My kids are on spring break and we are stuck here in beautiful, rainy, cloudy, cold Illinois! Not that I thought it was going to be 90 degrees, but the small taste of Spring we had last week made me hopeful! So this is a picture of the chair that I wish I was sitting in, drinking a diet coke, looking through a Pottery Barn Catalog, and watching my kids run around the yard! Maybe by next week.....All of my sessions start early next week. I will be back in full swing! Can't wait....enJOY

So Sweet

My newest nephew stopped by this week for a little visit, and I couldn't resist capturing this sweet moment! I loved his little fingers in his mouth! So sweet! enJOY

New Hip....New Life!

Sorry that there have been no new posts for awhile (awhile for me at least)! My husband, Nate, just had total hip replacement! His doctor said that it was one of the worst hips he had seen. On top of the damage from arthritis, it was broken. Yeah....broken! He had been walking on a broken hip for awhile! He was in so much pain the last few weeks (obviously) but still hardly complained! He has to be the most positive person I know! So with this new hip, the doctor says, it will bring a whole new life for him! He will finally get back motion that he hasn't had in years! Anyway, all the nurses seem to think that he is doing great..... passing with flying colors. We are actually headed home today! He has a long road ahead of him, but a great attitude and a desire to work hard! I am sure he will be biking and swimming again in no time! So with that, I scheduled a few weeks off from the camera! I am trying to finish editing a few sessions (mainly the wedding) and am going to help Nate. But sessions begin again in a week. I am looking forward to spring weather (although you never know in Illinois) and the chance to shoot outside! I have been staking out some new places to shoot! Should be fun! Well have an enJOYable day!
