Wedding Invitation

I recently had a photo shoot with this sweet couple. Their love for one another was so great. We had a great time during the shoot and got some great images. Then they let me design their wedding invitation. I am sooooo excited about this. It turned out beautiful. Maybe once the invites are out, I will show you how they turned out....Until then here are a few images from their session. enJOY

New Fun Stuff

I got a couple of new ideas for back-drops. Paige and Gus let me play for about 3 minutes....have I mentioned that they are not so excited about the camera:( I can't wait to try these out at some of my sessions coming up. Here is a small, 3 minutes small, glimpse of the new stuff. enJOY

Family

Just wanted to post a picture of a family that I recently photographed. They were so great. I think that is one of the things that I like most. I get to meet and become friends with many of the people that I work with. enJOY

GREAT DAY!!!

I just love days like today. We have done nothing! Really nothing. Gus and I have been inside sitting by the fire....reading books, watching TV, and just relaxing. I wish this was how life worked. I did snap a picture of Gus with his "nappy-old" blanket. He has had it always...and has never slept without it. It makes washing it a little tricky. Hence the word, nappy!!! enJOY

We ROCK!

So guitar hero has become the new past time in the Rugaard household. When we aren't at basketball games, we are playing guitar hero. Seriously, we may need a support group soon. It's amazing how addictive the guitar playing is. Tucker, our 8 year old, is mastering the game. (Does that worry any of you that we let him play it?) Maybe not the best parenting choice that we have made. But he usually is supervised and some songs and stages are off limits....Anyway, as I was saying, we love to rock out in the basement! Recently, my brother gave us this big surround sound system...and it is so sweet (except it doesn't really look Pottery Barnish)! "Sweet Child of Mine" has never sounded better...except when we try to play expert! So here are a few pics of Tucker rockin' out in the basement last night. enJOY

Girls just wanna Have FUN

I let Paige come home from school early today just because. She needed a little break and quite honestly I miss having her home with me. SO we had a fun girly afternoon, which of course included a photo shoot. If anyone can work the camera, it's her. She is so funny and has so many hilarious faces. 6 going on 16

A few more pictures from a recent session. This little girl (and her siblings) were so much fun! She reminds me so much of my own little girl. 6 going on 16!!!! We had a great time and got some great shots. I created their Christmas card too, which maybe I will post some of those soon. enJOY

My Handsome Nephew

I thought I would keep posting some of my pictures since people keep asking if they can view some of my photographs. These are a few pictures of my nephew from his families session this past fall. It was really cold this day and they all did so great. He was so hilarious! Such the little model. enJOY

Precious Baby Girl

I recently had the opportunity to photograph this precious little girl. She was so sweet and so perfect. She never even cried...well maybe once. But she was just beautiful. Thank you for letting me capture this moment in her life. enJOY
